Perfectly sized bags, easy to open and take apart. Although these bags are designed to be thin for environmental reasons, they tear very easily. That will be the only problem. If only they were a little thicker at the top so they don't tear when they're in the bin. The top tends to be a year and you can share the whole bag.

If I were on the side of the negative reviews I would have missed a great opportunity to get great shredding bags; Instead, I skimmed through the negative reviews only to find that most were actually looking for heavy duty garbage bags or maybe even tool bags, not actual shredder bags. They are thin and not quite square, like a garbage bag. They are curved at the bottom or triangular in shape and do not completely cover the entire bottom of the shredder box. They come in a box that can be slid out one at a time and stored at the bottom of the container which is nice. They are transparent and you can see when the container is full. A fingernail poked a hole in the bag, but it survived the paper shredding and fits into the paper shredder. We use them in two Revain choppers. One of them has hooks for bags, the other doesn't. While bags work better and remain easier in a shredder with built-in bag hooks, they work in other shredders as well. I made a mistake ordering them without looking at the part number. Yes these are genuine Staples bags but not like the ones I used to have. The plastic is very thin, so NOTHING will hold up. I usually shred my bills, letters, and documents, then place envelopes, spam, and other items on top that don't need shredding until the bag is full, then "sit" on top of the bag to deflate and seal it a little, then tie and take out on the day of disposal.
