The good thing about buying something with a name like Starrett comes automatically with positive reviews across the board for building their name on quality products.

I work with a 1" micrometer and hate having it sitting around in my tool box or on my desk. I use it to protect my mic, not as a holster, but it seems to work well as intended.

I love this holster. Excellent quality leather that takes years to break, and even more so at the end of its life, a decade? Snap is garbage. One reviewer called it smart. A micrometer drop is dead when relying on the cheapest tool? I never put it on because of the clasp but used it as a protective cover in my bag. Consider using a standardized attachment loop. A good example is Klein's lineman tools. I like this halter. Use every day.
