Accurate and durable thickness gauge

Precision and sturdiness are two important factors in any measuring tool and this gauge excels in both .Based on my experience it delivers consistent results over time. The large, easy-to-read display adds to its convenience. The only downside could be the price, but it`s worth investing in if ACCURACY is key..

Pros
  • Accurate and consistent results, sturdy build, easy-to-read display
Cons
  • Slightly expensive

Not Worth the Investment

This product is a waste of industrial and scientific supplies. The pros are negligible in comparison to the cons which include ITS high price point and poor accuracy .Save your money and invest in a more reliable measuring tool..

Pros
  • High-quality and durable construction
Cons
  • Requires a certain degree of skill and experience to use accurately

Accuracy is key

I have recently purchased the Starrett C635-1000 series and C635-500 series. When the 500mm ruler is placed next to the 1000mm ruler I notice that the 500mm ruler is significantly 1/2mm smaller than the 500mm mark on the 1000mm ruler. It seems to me that this is a large variation, but perhaps this variation is within the tolerances of the manufacturing process. Perhaps my expectations for Starrett were unrealistically high, but oddly I'm now in a worse position than without a 500mm or 1000mm…

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad but...
