Noiselessness is the main thing

A good cooler for your pc. The blowing is almost silent. In the time I have used it, I haven't noticed any defects. It's been a long time and it still works, it hasn't broken even once.

A good fan will fit in standard cabinet slots.

Ideal for a standard server rack. I used two to draw air in on one side and push air out the other side of the cabinet. The fans are inserted into pre-punched fan holes in the case. Connected to a UPS to prevent servers from overheating during power outages. This airflow is good and has helped keep the cabinet temperature down. Hasn't overestimated itself since installing it (6 months ago). I would buy this again.

The fan itself is well made and solid.

The fan itself appears to be solidly, solidly built. The problem is that it didn't come with an AC adapter or mounting hardware as advertised. Other than not being able to use it, it seems pretty good. That's a great $40 paperweight. EDIT: I contacted the seller and the missing parts were sent in the mail. It took an extra week hence 4 stars but I got it and now the fan works great.
