It works, the quality is good.

This conversion cable works for me. I have an old PSU with a 4-pin square connector, but my motherboard has an 8-pin connector. I should note that after plugging in the adapter cable, my computer would not start on the first few tries. Not sure why, but I kept pressing the power button and it finally started. Now it always starts on the first try. The quality seems to be good. I took an egg off because the price is at least twice what I thought it would be, but it saved me from having to pay…

If you are looking for a way to connect an old PSU with a 4-pin CPU power connector to a motherboard with an 8-pin (some call it a 4x2 connector) CPU power connector than to get this adapter!
