Works quite well! good for hard drive accessories

I needed a way to fit an internal Plextor M5M PX-256M5M 256GB Mini-SATA (mSATA) MLC SSD into my ASUS N56JN-MH71 laptop. So I found this special case. The mSATA SSD card fitted snugly into the case board slot and was secured with the included screws. After putting the case cover on, it fitted perfectly into the laptop's drive bracket and SATA slot. If you have a 3.5 inch external case you need this

My music studio has a lot of memory connected to my main DAW computer. After filling all six SATA connectors on the motherboard, I need to add external enclosures with multiple drives. Most enclosures that work with USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10Gb/s) expect you to put 3.5" drives in their caddies. didn't work and fried my SSD

There are 4 modes (NoR, RAID1, RAID0, JBOD), none of them worked. Actual modes differ from manual modes in that NoR (actual) is used instead of BIG (documented). I believe NoR/BIG is what is commonly referred to as SPAN. Regardless of the mode and even whether drives are installed (tried one and both slots), when using the "Dock" OWC USB3 Mac OS Mojave only reports an entry called "Dual Drive Dock 1 Media" with a capacity of 104.9 MB (EVEN without hard drives!) and "Number of children: 0".
