Description of πŸ”₯ Steinel GF 260 Hot Melt Glue Sticks - High Strength 12 Inch - Bag of 15 Sticks - Works on Plastics, Wood, and More - Strongest Available - 04043

One of the best Steinel glue sticks, which holds flawless also with strong load. After cleaning and re-bonding the items they have held together not only under normal use, but under heavy stress as well. Once set this adhesive provides a tough bond, that is extremely shock resistant. Steinel glue sticks are recommended when other hot melts fail to do the job. Suitable for Steinel Hot-Melt Glue Gun TM 6000 and GF 3002

Poor quality batch?

Warning! The last batch of bars I bought resulted in poor adhesion, not the strength I rely on when using Steinel hot melt. As I was going through this pack of sticks, I began to wonder if they changed the formula? Haven't I scratched my surfaces enough? The change was so abrupt! Things fell apart immediately. I took my suit parts to the desert for an event and watched the parts fall off in the heat. Never had a problem in my 10 years with this brand. The name on the side of my last stick says…

Strong, durable, tacky adhesive

High temperature hot melt adhesive can be used to bond plastics not typically bonded with solvent based adhesives. The advantage of high temperature adhesives is that they are more likely to soften the plastic you are trying to glue to, making it much more adhesive. I've had trouble with other hot glues I've used in the past, as they don't stick as well and get too soft in tropical temperatures. I manufacture video equipment for observing bird nests in hollow trees from Lexan, Nylon…

Strongly glues polypropylene and everything else!

I used these glue sticks in the Surebonder PRO8000A (a monster 180 watt glue gun) to glue sheets of corrugated polypropylene (coroplast) to EVA foam and polypropylene to themselves. The bond between the adhesive and the polypropylene sheets is so strong that the plastic stretches before the adhesive separates. Likewise, EVA foam will break before the adhesive fails. I have also used this glue on wood, glass and metal and in every case it outperforms typical all-purpose glue sticks. matching…
