Strongly glues polypropylene and everything else!

I used these glue sticks in the Surebonder PRO8000A (a monster 180 watt glue gun) to glue sheets of corrugated polypropylene (coroplast) to EVA foam and polypropylene to themselves. The bond between the adhesive and the polypropylene sheets is so strong that the plastic stretches before the adhesive separates. Likewise, EVA foam will break before the adhesive fails. I have also used this glue on wood, glass and metal and in every case it outperforms typical all-purpose glue sticks. matching glue gun. If your work has a lot of thermal mass, you may need to preheat it with a hair dryer so the glue doesn't cool too much before it has time to set. With some plastics, you may need to use sandpaper or heat and thinner to prepare the surface for bonding. As already mentioned, this adhesive is simply renamed tecbond 260. So if you find this product cheaper elsewhere (e.g. on ebay), grab it. When used correctly, this low surface energy adhesive bonds plastics better than most epoxies for welding plastics, and it's much easier and faster, which is why I highly recommend it in my book.
