Stencil Genie Magnetic Frame Review

Could not find suitable stencils. You will need to cut the cookies to one of the two thicknesses that will fit this frame.

I like the idea of the Stencil Genie holding the stencil in place. What I don't like is that you have to make your own stencil mat which is too small to fit in the Stencil Genie.

This is an indispensable tool in my cookie shop. Whether airbrushing or using royal icing with stencils, Genie's magnetic frame holds the stencils securely, ensuring a finished product with crisp images. Much easier and faster than with small individual magnets. The only problem I have is that the magnets in the frame are so strong that sometimes they get blocked before the template is in place.

I personally find it quite difficult to use but to be honest it was my first time. It took sooo many tries to finally get 5 cookies that came out good. I think it's more for airbrushing. For this reason I decided to keep it as I plan to get an airbrush soon. By then it will be too late to return, but whatever. FYI, there's not that much and takes leaves when you lock Oreos.
