Not suitable for all applications.

As mentioned earlier, this adapter is too wide to fit any 4ga outlet and mine was no exception. I ended up having to use a metal file to shave the sides just enough for it to fit. Also, I had trouble finding heat shrink tubing with an inside diameter large enough to slip over the outside of the adapter. Again, as mentioned, this can lead to short circuit problems if you use an adapter on the power and ground terminals (since everything is metallic and conductive on the outside).

MAY NOT FIT ALL 4GAUGE Check Description!

Excellent product. Arrived quickly and quite heavy for how small they are. Comes with 2 red and black stripes as required (NOTE: I BUY 2 OTHERWISE IT ONLY COMES WITH ONE RED AND ONE BLACK) Even after reading the specs and making sure I'm buying the right product I've always had still small problems. . My Rockford Fosgate R1200-D has 4Gauge entry points for B and Neg but still won't fit in. I had to trim a bit to make sure they fit properly and snugly. In general, when it comes to speed, price…

Will not fit Jl Amps

Looks very good. However, I bought my JL Slash 1200/1 v3 to install. And JL Slash 300/4 v3. To my surprise, they didn't fit in my amp slots. You'll have to shave off most of the tip for them to fit. Even if I could manage that, they're pretty chunky, so they're going to be a very tight fit, and generally there's not enough protection for them, for what it is. I would have to put shrink wrap or tape over them so they don't meet. Definitely not recommended for users who have JL amps. This review…
