Too thin to use as a plate. I have dixie plates that we use for regular meals, but I bought these so I wouldn't waste a dixie plate on something like a slice of pizza or a bagel for breakfast. They are too fragile to even be used for this. Not much better than a sheet of regular office paper. You'd have to use 2 or 3 to be useful for anything, which defeats the purpose of being cheap. I regret this purchase.

just received this one. Use to hold a slice of domino pizza, a small piece. I wouldn't expect a plate to fit much more than this small slice of pizza, but rather than wasting water/rinse time, that's fine. I'm a little disappointed that they come in the same plastic packaging which means that when you open them all 500 are "open" and now in danger of getting dirty or something. A reviewer gave one star because these plates did not have a code or seal. I think they meant "uncoated" but that's why we decided to buy them. Microwaving food made from plastics of any kind or on plastic-coated paper has the potential to introduce chemical toxins into the food. Coated paper plates are perfect for picnics or snacks because they don't soak through as quickly as uncoated paper.
