Thetford 36673 StorMate Soft Swab Toilet Brush - White Review

Sorry I don't like writing bad reviews but this is terrible. The handle is too short if you don't want to get your hands wet, and the sponge is so flexible that it seems pretty useless for cleaning the toilet. I absolutely cannot recommend it and will not buy it again.

Stunning. This toilet brush is amazing. Cleans well, the cup allows you to squeeze the water out of the sponge/scrubber before removing it. I can't say enough good things about it. I'm not sure how well it works in a regular toilet, but it's great for wheeled toilets.

I don't like sharp toilet brushes. This mop picks up the cleaning product and puts it in the bowl instead of down the drain. It is soft, does not scratch the porcelain, causing holes and making the toilet difficult to clean. I wish the handle was a little longer.

Cleaned my wheeled toilet well. I chose a toilet cleaner without harsh, bleaching, or ammonia-based chemicals because I didn't want to contaminate the valve seat in the waste water tank. Received bowl without stains, no scratches. Much cheaper and more effective than foam powder. The only minor thing - I would like the case to cover the brush at the very bottom, but keep it in the original bag. Small in storage, so it takes up little space

I have been using this mop for years. I got my first in a set from Don Anslett that included a toilet cleaner and trolley. I've just finished cleaning and still have my car and just need a mop and was very happy to find one at Revain. Once I started using a floor mop I never wanted to go back to brushes as they are certainly not effective as a toilet cleaner. They don't cover all surfaces like a mop and don't splash water everywhere.

Look, this toilet brush is made for caravan toilets. I'm not sure if people saying this is a terrible item are using it in an RV toilet or not. RV toilets require very soft brushes as the o-rings holding the siphon are easily damaged by hard brushes. This softer type is required for a toilet on wheels. I buy one every year - a great investment to keep my dresser in good condition. I have an old basket from a previous set of toilet brushes that I keep this brush in.

I ordered a Fuller Brush toilet mop and was delighted. I wanted to order one for each bathroom so I tried two of these instead of the Fuller brand. Can't complain too much about the price difference and they do the job, but it feels like a piece of fiberfill on the end rather than a mop like the Fuller Brush brand. It is not as dry as the Fuller Brush brand. However, if you are looking for a cheap mop for rarely used toilets, you can save some money with this brand. Generally it does the job.

I bought this after listening to an interview with Thetford about van hygiene. They recommend using it to clean the RV toilet without scratching the plastic. This works well in combination with Thetford Foaming Bathroom Cleaner. The cup squeezes the water out of the tampon without it dripping. Lightweight and easy to store. Only criticism is that it doesn't have a hole at the top of the handle - it would be nice if it could be hung up when not in use. The swivel tie solved that problem for me…
