The cable looks really solid. It's a bit thicker than a regular cable, but you can bend it easily. It even came with a small USB-C to USB-A adapter, which was pretty handy. It's also very fast, I use it for other things besides Oculus too.

Braided cables always last a long time, and this is fiberglass, so the cable is lighter than the standard cable (but still heavier than the official cable because of the braid).
