This saved me time cleaning the stove after cooking.

I don't know who invented this for the lazy. Really helpful to keep you away from the constant cleaning of the oven. I preordered it from the start. It just fits on my 36" stove. I put 6 on the stove which has helped me a lot. This way I don't have to clean the oven every day. This is a great product.

Everything was fine until it caught fire

I was happy to use these oven guards. When I first used the stove (on LOW!) I smelled some sort of odor and then a flame erupted about 12-18 inches from the burner. I turned off the stove, reached into the far corner, and threw the gas stove's protective cover into the sink to extinguish it. At least it burns slowly. Thank goodness there were no grandchildren at home! No, I do not recommend this product.

Use a stationery knife / stationery knife! looks good after burners are back on

So far so good! Just installed. Quite easy. Will come back later to edit the review if they don't work well. Update. You are wonderful! So easy to wash. The hob always looks great instead of splashing on the glass. Love her! Another update after buying the second set. Use a utility knife to trim. The work looks much better than with scissors. The instructions also show how to cut the lid in half. Doesn't work for my burner locations.

Waste of time

I bought these to protect my new stove and make cleaning easier LOL! They are now in the trash as they damaged and soiled the surface of my silver plate. I followed the instructions exactly, none caught fire like the others, but when I took them off to wash after 3 days, I was horrified. It would have been better to protect the kiln with foil, it would have been cheaper and I'm pretty sure it wouldn't ruin my new silver kiln. The delivery was correct and on time.

A good product; Good price.

I'm a bit fanatical about my home but especially my kitchen. I have a hard time removing the heavy iron screens to clean them, the burners and the small areas around the burners. I really hate aluminum burner bibs. Even the good ones look cheap. My (gas) stove is black, so I tried these stove protectors. They were easy to trim to fit the burners exactly and go wall to wall. Tip: Use your razor blade very carefully to mark where you need to cut, finish with a good pair of scissors or paper…
