Nice Clean Cut works best with straight, spiral and scoring cutters

I use smaller 1/4" shank straight cutters on an installed cutter to cut grooves in picture frame moldings. This bit had a very nice double groove blade that held up well with my project. Sure every bit is serviceable (reason for 4 stars for durability) but this one was a lot of fun. I was pleased with the slots and clean cut. Would buy again

Bought two (one spare) for a project - broke both

The product seemed to cut through the material (oak) perfectly and certainly can't argue with the price. but broke two bits one evening while milling 1/4" dado. I had another straight 1/4" bit from the bit set that seemed to hold up to the depth and speed I'm cutting. but I have still may cut too much material per pass, bargain a little - don't overdo it or you'll break it.

I will never go back to my hand drill and Forstner bit

I used a hand drill and forstner bit to drill 5/8 inch diameter holes fairly accurately. I've read that I could do it faster with my plunge router, but the router's high RPM requires a special router bit. I just drilled my first hole with a 5/8" bit - it was quick, easy and of course the perfect depth. I will never use my hand drill and forstner bit for this type of job again. When I use this bait If you can do 18 to 20 holes before it gets boring, that would be a great deal and a huge time…
