Double (triple) coat

A bit pricey for the whole coat Lining makes a cool fall/spring jacket, soft fleece interior with nylon windproof outer shell. The outer parka has more pockets than any coat I've ever had - or was will make an excellent spring waterproof jacket in its own right. I'm 6ft 270 but size XXL fits well, sleeves could be a bit longer

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Best warmest coat you can find for ice fishing and extreme cold

Good I chose this coat and Strike Master bib. wow, that's all i can say. This is the warmest and most useful coat I have ever had. Lots of zip pockets and the lining of the jacket is amazing. Very comfortable and the lining of the jacket makes a great coat to wear alone in the fall or spring. I give 10 out of 10!

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Clarity

Happy Camper!: Clothing

I read the reviews and decided to order one size larger than my usual XL. 2X fits perfectly. workmanship and I can say that this will be a warm jacket. The pockets are roomy and the hand warmer pockets are big for me. I love this coat so much I will be sending 3 or 4 of my winter coats to the thrift store. My biggest problem right now is deciding if I need an XL or 2XL jumpsuit for my 40 inch waist.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • unreliable

Great jacket to wear

You must order one size up. The bibs are true to size. The only complaint I have is who ever delivered my $300 jacket and threw it in a snowdrift in front of a porch that showed no sign of life, 10 feet from a busy street. A back porch with a cleared driveway and a cleared porch sidewalk with a very nice canopy would be a better choice. I also never received a photo of my package via email, weird.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other models

Works very little best in jackets and coats

Had high hopes for this expensive coat. If you have tiny T-Rex arms and are painfully skinny, this is the coat for you. It was supposed to be large according to the size chart, but I ordered XL instead. Too small, no space in a t-shirt with very short sleeves. The next larger sizes seem to have an extra 1/2 inch sleeve length, which isn't even close to enough. I'm 5ft 10inches 200lbs and average arm length, unless I'm wearing Chinese made stuff I wish it looked good. ready and probably warm.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Good but not great

Medium size may be too small 6'3 " 165 lbs

Overview ready to go. I'm 6'3" 165 lbs. at the shoulders. The arms are a bit short. (I have long arms) I'm considering switching to a larger size but I'm concerned that the chest might be too swollen and I wanted a more fitted jacket. I have yet to try it on a few times indoors (I travel a lot and haven't been able to test) things I'm disappointed with. No thumb holes on inner lining. I bought a thermal shirt with thumb holes to fix this. Not enough pockets in my opinion. I would like more…

Warm! Cozy! Excellent customer service!

Fantastic warmth. The outer shell protects against wind and has many pockets. I use a removable inner jacket for everything. Looks and style are acceptable even for a dinner at a restaurant. The only criticism is that the soft lining of the cuff was poorly sewn to the inner jacket. It broke but StrikerIce arranged for me to send it back for repair (so I could keep using it for the rest of the ice fishing season even if it was out of warranty). It remains only to send a photo of the damage and…

Great jacket but expensive

Update: After about 4 hours of snow on snow the jacket got wet from the water. The claim that these jackets are waterproof is a little misleading, and when I delved a little deeper into the Striker Ice website, I came across their explanation. The bottom line is that these jackets are not waterproof by definition. You are on point. The water resistance is 1/5 of the Gortex rating. They also claim the zippers are waterproof, but there was actually water in the pockets. A jacket in this price…

This is the reason I bought it.

Arrived as described. In terms of performance, as a long-time rider, I would suggest adding a binder over the flap to the two large external pockets to prevent water from getting into the pockets and items from falling out. It has many pockets in relation to the shift, but all are available at once. Remember that too many pockets when storing things can create a mess. In heavy rain and temperatures below 40 I was warm and dry, both in the inner layer and in the shell. So much so that I put on…
