Striped Midi Dress With Pockets: Casual, Short-Sleeved Women'S Swing Dress By Levaca Review

I'm looking for easy summer dresses to avoid jeans this summer, and I love how this dress strikes that casual vibe -- though I could dress it up for the upcoming school year -- and helps me stay cool while looking somewhat put together! I ordered a medium, and the dress fits well for the most part (sleeves not too tight, bust not too tight, waist between empire and natural) -- it's just a bit too long on my 5'3-4" frame to look perfect (falls somewhere between midi and ankle).

As above stated, I have rolls and it fits snug. I likea more cotton loose fitting dress. It’s beautifuland a slimmer gal would be great wearing it.

I received MANY compliments on this dress the first day I wore it! It is super cute and can be worn for almost every occasion. It is rather sheer so I wore a slip underneath. I am 5'2, 185 lbs and ordered a large.

Love the fabric and the flow of the dress. Dress is a little larger than expected, and I did not like the terrible smell of the fabric when opened the bag smelled of very strong mens Calonge. two washes, before most of the smell was gone

The dress is comfortable but not an attractive fit. The seam is just below my breasts giving a short waisted look. Made my actual waist and abdomen look puffed out and I am actually very thin. Had to wear it with a jacket.

This dress is fun to wear. It is simple, easy, and comfortable. It gets compliments. It meets my requirements for modesty and style.

Purchased this for my mother n law. She usually wears a XL. This dress was really cut but to small in the bust. Thanks for attention!

I gave this dress 5 stars because it's well made and super soft. I did order a size XL, hoping it would work for me while I'm trying to lose a few pounds. However, the style was just very unflattering on my body, and made my hips look even larger than they are. Still, I'd recommend it to my thinner sisters out there.

Sheerer than expected. The elastic band is not flattering. It creeps up. Large was ok. Xlarge would have been better That's my review.

The dress is super cute and comfy! The only problem is that I ordered a blue and white striped one, and I got a lavender and white striped. (For reference, the trim on the blanket next to it is a denim blue.) But even though the color is off, I will keep it. I just would be cautious with colors of this brand.

The dress is very flattering. I am 5'7" and 190lbs bust 36DD. And I ordered an XL. It covers my knees and isn't tight. I would have given 5 starts but it seems as if the blue bled onto the white near the front of chest. And I didn't open the dress until the event I was wearing it for so it was too late to return or exchange.

I love this dress style. I have one in black so decided to my the burgundy/maroon color. I’m on a break at work as I write this review because, to my surprise, the dress is revealing fuzz or pilling as my badge/lanyard brushes against it. I literally have pink fuzz balls all over me. I do NOT recommended this color. The attached photo is minor only because I just wiped off as much as I could. It just keeps happening and I’m sure I’ll be a hot mess by the end of the day.

I was surprised by this dress. The quality was much better than I expected. I love the style but the length is a little awkward. I’m barely 5’5 and it hits oddly in my shins. I have to wear heels with it because with flats it makes me look much shorter than I actually am. I also ordered a small so I think they run a bit big. I normally wear an 8 in most clothes so I ordered the medium and it was way too big. I may have the length taken up so it looks better with flats.

Great way to get out of my jeans. It is a fun, forgiving style. The fabric is softer than I expected, It washed well. Hung to dry, it needed a bit of a press (I'm old school). I LOVE the pockets. They are deep enough to hold my phone and keys so I don't need to drag a purse everywhere. My only negative (old school again) is that the green stripe at the bottom of the bodice is slanted rather than straight across. Still, lots of comfort for the money.

Cute style and nice ivory and black striped but fabric is ultra thin and clingy, much more than a typical t shirt top, even a lightweight one. Also the waistline is too low for an empire waist style and too high for normal waist line, so just weird at least on me. Sadly I’m returning it.
