Trailer Tray by Stromberg Carlson CC-255 – Enhanced SEO-friendly Product Title Review

Missing parts; both curved arms and lower supports are missing. The box is stapled at one end (looks real) and taped at the other end (looks like it has been used before and sent back).

This shell is perfect for my generator. After installing the tray (very easy by following the instructions that came with it) I installed my generator on it by drilling holes and using some U-bolts to permanently attach the generator to the tray. I no longer have to worry about where to charge my generator and how to protect it when I'm away from my RV.

This item is legal. I was skeptical. I have a Champion 3.4k alternator that I just purchased and installed in my RV. At first it seemed to dangle, but as the instructions say - drill holes and screw on. It took a while to set up, but with two people it was very easy to assemble. Jen weighs 100 pounds and I just drove from Missouri to the North Carolina coast with her attached to it and damn it this thing doesn't move at all. It's solid - I like it. It would be great for something else too.

This is a very well made product. My caravan doesn't have a lot of storage space so I bought it to add extra external storage. We have just returned from backpacking and everything is great. I bought this stand on a whim because I wanted to mount the generator on the front of my trailer to save weight. I didn't measure ahead of time but I was confident I should be fine as the mounts can be adjusted to fit any size trailer. Of course it fits perfectly. This tray is VERY well made. All screws and hardware are top notch. The entire unit is fully adjustable. Once positioned in the exact location you want, THEN tighten the screws. I had to move to where I installed the brackets etc but after the move everything fitted perfectly. I wanted to move the tray as much as possible to take out the batteries for storage.
