Terribly borderline cream - definitely not a 5 star show

I usually use the Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Shaping Cream which I really like. Expensive so I looked for an alternative. Between Revain's positive reviews and some raving reviews online, I decided to give this stuff a try. My hair is very straight and very thin, not to mention full of kinks. On the other hand, the price is great. It holds the hair in place well. On the downside, it's an odd sticky consistency and I never manage to get the right amount. Too little and it's useless. A little too…

Works great - but I'm getting a reaction - hope not

The stuff works really well - so why only 3 stars? It drives my scalp insane. Not terribly itchy, but my scalp reacts with crusting, a little itching (I know - awful right?) here and there. I don't know what ingredients I'm reacting to, but it's real. I stop using it for a day or two and the bumps go away. Then I use it again and boom, they're back. It really annoys me because if it wasn't for my skin reaction I would be a regular customer. I don't have any known allergies, but something about…

I've tried so many. The search ends here.

I am very picky about my hair and the products I use on it. My hair is very thick and often doesn't hold up well with creamy hair gels. This becomes a problem as I don't like the shine that lipsticks give. I tried that with this; Here's my experience: Things I like: - The fixation of this gel is like no other I've used. I've tried Crew Fiber, Dove and a ton of other brands and can honestly say none of them even compare. This material lasts me all day with minimal adjustment. This product gives…

Love the overall hold and matte texture d

After switching between Mitch and American Crew products for a while, I decided to try the d:fi Shaping Cream. I love the overall hold and matte texture of d:fi, but the texture of the product sometimes makes hair difficult to work with initially. It just means working with the product a few extra minutes to get the look I want, but eventually I'll get my way. It really lasts all day and sometimes even the next morning, so longevity isn't an issue. . Prices are lower than other brands I use so…

Definitely the best product for unruly hair

I've been using D:fi D:struct cream for almost 10 years. I have very thick, coarse and perfectly straight hair that is almost impossible to manage. At least that was the case before I started using this product. I have no idea what I will do if they discontinue this product. This is by far the best hair product I have ever used. - The smell is mild and pleasant. - The consistency is perfect - not sticky, not runny. Easily rinsed off hands after use. It holds hair in place without making it…

Best hair product I've ever used

I have very thick hair and most of the gels I buy just give me a wet big spiked look which I don't like. I usually have problems when the gel is either too soft and doesn't hold my hair, or the gel is too hard and my hair looks like a greasy hard hat. The only other hair cream product I can use is crew cream or some pomades. It's the perfect combination of strong hold and a smooth, non-shiny finish that I'm looking for. It's also one of the most difficult hair products to find in local stores…
