We really like this hammock. Bought for my daughter, 4 month old guinea pig. He loves to. It turns out to be a great and cozy shelter! And he has room to grow!

I wasn't sure if my chinchilla would fit in the inside pocket but from the crap I found inside it obviously did. 😆 She likes to take a nap in a hammock. It is very soft and durable.

The blue/flamingo part is literally a plastic sheet. The entry holes are also very small and sewn tightly to the top so that if the animal were on top and inside the inside of the animal would be pinched and the plastic material pressed against it.

The ties that connect the clips to the body are released. It makes rustling noises when the animal moves inside it, which some people don't like. The pattern of the fabric is cute but the lint free part is really smooth, kind of slippery to the touch and not ironed at all.

My little darling loves his hanging bed. He plays on it and sometimes sleeps in it. I had to buy 3 of these just because he chewed on all the others. lol He chews everything. Luckily he hasn't chewed it yet. crossed fingers He also liked to hide things in the bottom compartment. giggle

We started when our rat cage was designed for babies and was too big to use properly. The one we upgraded to 2' x 3' was the perfect match and became a roosting place for our two rats (preferably over a fleece lined box, their old favorite fleece pouch and a cozy hanging tube of fluffy stuff) .
