Don't let the cool looks fool you - low quality player

This unit looks GORGEOUS. However, I gave it to my 7 year old son for Christmas. . . and the damn thing eats up the cartridge about 1/2 times faster. Big disappointment! And that's where Santa Claus brought it. . . he won't let me buy him a new one. . . He just keeps a pencil nearby to hand-rewind the tape. Don't let the cool looks fool you - low quality players

Total garbage on portable audio and video devices

What can I say - it's poorly made garbage. Everything about it is cheaply made. The engine doesn't run consistently, the speaker is tinny and the microphone is a joke. Even plugging an external mic into the aux jack produces pathetic sound that sounds like you're recording in a bathtub. to restart this technology. save your money

Hi! It is very good!

It's relatively small and portable (although it's never left my room) and frankly very cool. I bought it solely to play cassettes, but it also has a radio (AM/FM) and an extra cable port on the left side. The sound quality is excellent and for such a small radio it radiates quite well (loud when you turn it all the way up). I would recommend it to anyone, it's pretty versatile and works with or without batteries so it's very handy.

Doesn't work

We found this nicely packaged recorder to be made of flimsy plastic. The packaging it came in was stronger than the item itself. Since the batteries didn't fit easily into the product, we used a handy cord that plugs into an outlet. However, the wire continued to fall out of the object. Then we wrap the entire wire with electrical tape so that it does not fall off the object. We then followed the instructions, put in our favorite tape and hit the play button (it goes down, not in) and the tape…

Nice little radio

This is a nice little radio and cassette player. Below is a summary of what we found. Advantages: * High quality plastic housing. This radio feels more durable than comparable cassette players in this price range. The carrying handle is also in one piece, for example it is not hollow at the back.* Good radio reception in the AM and FM bands. Although the tuner uses a radial knob to change stations like many modern radios, the internal tuner uses a digital receiver to tune into stations.* The…

Depends on your needs

The radio looks good. But looks can only go so far. I live in my RV and bought it to fit the setup so I was already expecting not to return it as I am drilling holes in it. My intended applications are as follows (in order of importance): 1. Cassette playback. 2. Listen to the radio. 3. Use the auxiliary input. The first use is ok. It doesn't look like the device will eat up my cassettes any time soon. However, I'm not sure if the ribbon control buttons will hold up. They are not weak but…
