Doesn't fit on my desk and I even have a Studio Designs table. Okay separate but the holes are a little big to hold the pins firmly in place.

I bought this tray to replace a Studio Design tray that was going to fit my Studio Design desktop at the end , but didn't fit. It's a good storage solution for pencils and pens, but honestly a bit pricey for a piece of styrofoam with holes in it. It lasts well for a month, but I'm not sure if the mesh will keep its integrity with repeated use... We'll see!

I have previously ordered hard plastic holders for brushes and pens. They were wobbly and kept falling apart when I had to move them. Pens and brushes also fell out. I really like their slim fit. They are light and pleasing to the eye. I think I'll try to order a larger size for my small tubes of paint.

I bought a new art table with side shelves for your pens. I saw another table that had something similar and I liked having all my pens handy and not having to search through them to find the right pen. The only downside was that I had to crop them, which is not a manufacturer's fault. Also the holes tend to loosen a lot after a while so I'm not sure how long they will last but for now they work. I think the table I bought had trays that are narrower than the average art table. You may not need

This is perfect for my needs. I am a portrait painter and am currently working on a commission for a three part pencil portrait. I find the metal boxes that my graphite and charcoal pencils come in inconvenient and uncomfortable while working on a piece. These foam holders/organizers work great, making it easy for me to get the pencil I need and just as easy to put it back in place (I sorted them by softness).
