The screws on the back DO NOT fit, there is no way to install this chair and I had to return both of mine. hated it and it was HASSEL! NOT RECOMMENDED!

This chair wasn't difficult to put together. I'm not a very practical mom and it took me 20 minutes to hammer in one of the support bolts as one of the holes in the stem wasn't big enough for the bolt to go through. It's a nice functional chair after all, but I can't get rid of the weird smell. It hit me right out of the box. I was still hoping it would go away, but after 24 hours - and 4 rounds of Febreeze - I still haven't gotten rid of it. Will be updated when it disappears. Hope!

Don't buy, find another chair! Returned item. Others have complained and the company has not fixed the problem. I don't understand why they can't know it's a problem. The screws that screw into the back are slanted. The plastic bracket through which the screws are guided is parallel and prevents the screws from being screwed in at an angle. That way you won't be modifying the backrest with a dremel tool that a man made and you won't have to do it or unthread the bolts and integral nut.

Upon unpacking, I found that the quality is not very good. Setup was supposed to take a few minutes, but it didn't. All threads were painted and screws loosened. The back bracket and its cover didn't fit together and didn't follow the contour of the chair back, so the screws didn't match. After many attempts to catch multiple threads I put this together. The rear bracket fell apart within minutes of use. Cute design, comfy pillows - just poor construction. I might have a lemon, but let's go…

The design of the chair is not only unnecessarily complicated, it's fundamentally wrong. The rounded back of the seat is believed to be bolted to the neck that connects it to the seat. However, the part that needs to be attached to the back of the seat is straight. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that you can't attach a straight piece to a rounded surface. The amount of tools and effort that would be required to solve this problem alone would be equivalent to building a chair from…

Bought this chair for my drafting table (I have an Alvin Ensign drafting table) Pros: -Easy assembly! The hardest part was putting the wheels on the base (it was very inconvenient trying to keep the wheels from sliding by putting them in the socket) - very handy! I draw very long hours (8+ hours on weekends, with a 15-30 minute break every 2 hours) - Lightweight - Easy to carry - Nice design! I was drawn to the aesthetic and it didn't disappoint - CHEAP!
