Honestly I got it the first time. I was hesitant to buy a french braiding tool because a lot of people had issues with reviews. You really need an extra hand to hold him down in the beginning. I wish it was longer as my daughter's hair is twice the length of this tool. I didn't try to add the second part. It stays on the hair and doesn't bother the head at all.

It has instructions but of course you can't do it with your own hair and even after trying it on my granddaughter I still can't get it right. So for now just disappointed with it. :(

Doesn't really work. it will move and not stay in place at all. And if you don't have a lot of hair, the device will be very noticeable.
