Not up to par for performance

This gasket was a huge disappointment. It failed after just a few months and leaked oil everywhere. It's definitely not up to par for those looking for high-performance automotive parts.

Pros
  • Efficient shipping
Cons
  • Poor quality

Missing parts that cannot be replaced

The kit says it comes with crank and cam seals but when I got it there were no cam or crank seals packed up. Very disappointed I can't even get a refund or seals without a full refund and send them back. Can't wait to get the head gaskets. Very disappointed. I want my money back

Pros
  • Cylinder Head Gasket 11044AA642 X2 Laminated Steel (Upgraded replacement for 11044AA633)
Cons
  • Some minor items

One of the two cylinder head gaskets was defective

I cleaned and deburred my EJ251 heads and also had the valve repaired and checked for compression at an official workshop. The heads looked amazing, so shiny and fresh. Unfortunately, my mechanic reported that one of the two cylinder head gaskets was defective and after installation showed me where it was defective. They replaced it and installed the same head gasket twice, which cost me extra labor and $60 for another gasket. In other words, I ended up buying three and paying to install three,

Pros
  • 1999-2010 Forester (non-turbo)
Cons
  • Something else
