One of the two cylinder head gaskets was defective

I cleaned and deburred my EJ251 heads and also had the valve repaired and checked for compression at an official workshop. The heads looked amazing, so shiny and fresh. Unfortunately, my mechanic reported that one of the two cylinder head gaskets was defective and after installation showed me where it was defective. They replaced it and installed the same head gasket twice, which cost me extra labor and $60 for another gasket. In other words, I ended up buying three and paying to install three, which is far from optimal. He asked if I had a warranty or would like to try to return but as I have used the rest of the components of this kit. not sure how it would work. Instead I will leave this review; Good luck with that, right?
