This is your standard mechanical thermostat. It has no "temperature setting numbers" as shown in the picture. It just has lines so you don't know what temperature you're setting the thermostat to. I would return it but I'm keeping it for my digital thermostat in case of an emergency.

Bought for a friend who doesn't have Amazon Prime but badly needed it. It replaced his previous RV thermostat which didn't have a proper on/off mode. He recommends it. Now its heater won't turn on when the temperature drops below 50F! happy customer Maybe you will too. (Unlike a traditional room thermostat, this device has a positive leftmost click position).

This unit is an exact replacement for the thermostat in my RV which had a broken lever. My complaint is that I wanted a thermostat with a temperature dial to set it, not just a thermometer. Arrived on time, good price and arrived without problems (had to cut the wire connectors as they did not go through the holes in the thermostat) . The only reason I didn't give this a 5 is because there are numbers on the old thermostat cover where you set the temp and lower on the arrow that shows the temp. The oven did not turn on despite the thermostat clicking. After dismantling the thermostat, the previously bare brass on the switching contact has turned very brown due to oxidation. PRO's - Plugged in and works great, heater works fine again as my old one gave up after years of use. Works. I want to buy something better. My old one was better than this one. He had a fairly accurate temperature scale. Kohn's wire passage was too small. If you need to pass wires through to attach them inside, make sure you have a large enough hole. The screws are too small. Please provide appropriate size pan head screws.
