🔥 Suburban 161156 Pilot Burner Assembly: High-Quality Replacement Part for Efficient Heating Systems Review

Will be installed on arrival day. Works as it should. Easy installation. You must use the existing screws on the water heater. This was installed on a Suburban SW10P and we also purchased and replaced the hole. Beautiful blue flames on both!

Installed it on a Suburban SW6P RV Water Heater because it had a weak pilot light that was difficult to ignite and would not burn. The new one ignites perfectly on the second try and maintains a pilot flame of about an inch and a half.

I have an old Rockwood camper and the indicator light went out after the water was heated. Replaced the pilot burner and burner nozzle and everything is back to normal. Very happy to have hot water again for $30 in parts and about 30 minutes of work. Not very difficult to complete the task other than removing a few old rusty screws. Be careful when bending the gas lines back into place as they are fragile.

This was the correct replacement for the pilot assembly on our motor home on site water heater. You will need some mechanical skill to swap it out as you will need to remove the cap and burner assemblies. The tubes are a bit longer than they should be, but it's certainly better than being too short. The gas hose can detach from the holder when bending, but can be snapped back into place. After that, the water heater caught fire easily and continued to burn as it should. Good business!

This goes well with my 6 gallon onsite water heater in our casita motorhome. The installation is disappointing only because of the construction of the water heater (the main gas pipe is in the way of the thermocouple connections on the gas valve and needs to be removed) but the thermocouple works fine once the way is cleared.
