I can't tell how pure the product was, but it looked very nice - small white crystals with no visible impurities. I bought this chemical to use on my fairly neglected orchids. I was a little wary - this is an acid, albeit a very weak one - so I sprayed several low value plants first and since nothing bad happened I continued to process my entire orchid collection.
