Touch Latch works

Has been working fine for 3 months. It is regularly used on the door of the storage room under the stairs. Replaced the old metal touch latch that was wearing out.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Extra heavy custom cabinet doors, no problem.

I made custom doors out of planks of wood that I cut and dried which are heavy. They have no problem grabbing and holding doors. Excellent closures.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

I expected a better product. Should be worth $3.

Wow, for the high cost of these fasteners I was expecting a better product. Should be worth $3.00. I have serious doubts about the durability of the product and prefer not to install it.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!

  • Some Cons

I always keep two in stock for future projects

$10 each, not cheap but works so well I've already bought six. I needed a 2" max push lock and it fit the bill perfectly and was strong enough for what I needed. It unlocks on every click and I've never had a problem. They're also small enough to not be as noticeable. as well as larger models. The magnetic latches looked nice but you still have to pull the door to open them but they mostly open instantly. I always keep two next to each other for future projects.

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Doesn't fit all

Great for earthquake safety.

I'm a bit of an earthquake fan. During the Loma Prieta earthquake in 1989, I lost all my dishes. Every plate, bowl and glass is gone. I wish I had them then. These are good latches for seismic resistance. Remember that the cabinet doors should be slightly ajar. I don't have handles on the doors so that's good anyway. I hope we don't get a good shaker any time soon. If we do that, at least I won't lose any more dishes! They were easy to install and quite small so they don't get in the way of…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • New competitors are here
