Works as advertised. I tried to start my motorcycle and only heard a clicking sound. I plugged in the Sunaplex for about 5 hours and it flipped and booted. worked so well. Now I leave it plugged in every time my bike isn't in use and it's full throttle when I start it up. Very happy with this charger.

The solar battery works perfectly, the controller is rather weak. Works as described until late at night. Once night falls, the controller turns off as expected, but the problem is that it never turns on automatically the next day. I have to manually disconnect and reconnect all cables from the controller to get it working again. This is a very big limitation that is not stated anywhere in the product description.

I like the indicator light that shows how much sunlight the solar charger is receiving. I work great even on cloudy days. It tolerates wind, rain and snow well. I didn't use suction cups but attached it with a couple of screws. I only wish they had included an extra extension to connect the solar array to the alligator clips to get more reach off the ground. Very happy with the product.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I have to connect the panel and then the battery connector in such an order that the charge and charge indicator lights up. Once the sun goes down, the turn signals go off and never come on again. I don't know what's going on with it. When first plugged in, the panel put out 14.4 volts and the battery 12.7 volts or so, so everything worked fine. The controller worries me.

Replacing a similar charger that paid for itself after almost 10 years of too much sun in Sacramento. Easy installation, suitable size battery clamps, convenient wire disconnection, make it easier to remove the battery for solar panel storage. Outputs 1.5 volts on multimeter. We'll see if it can keep my deep cycle at 12 volts later this summer. Asked mfgr a question, they had no idea what I was asking (China) but not deadly. The product looks good, I hope for the best.

I've bought one of these for all my cars and tractors over the past year. Everything worked fine. Under the Texas sun. Outside. One fell out after a month of use and I'm not sure why. I contacted the seller, the money was immediately refunded. I will definitely order again and be happy with my purchases. I find it best to position the charger so that it gets direct sunlight in the morning and then partial shade around midday. The Texas sun can be BRUTAL.

With a fully charged car battery, I placed this solar charger on my car's dashboard, but after a few days the car started hard to start due to a dead car battery. Also, the cable to the car battery must be disconnected before starting the car, or it will damage the solar charger, so it is troublesome to open the hood to manually disconnect the solar panel from the car battery. especially when it's raining outside. It would be better if this solar charger could be separated from the charger…
