Useless - if you do not want to stand there + manually rotating bowl

To say that the bowl rotates is a joke. There is a player, but it is not connected to anything. Ideally, the substance in the bowl rotates due to the rotation of the beaters. Not correct for the test. 2 dough hooks rotate in opposite directions without creating any rotation. YOU HAVE TO STAND THERE AND GIVE THE BOWL. I bought it to make pizza dough, not what I wanted.

I'm glad I bought this blender!

Bought for my daughter for Christmas because she loves to bake. I've looked at some of the cheaper ones and seen reviews that they don't have enough strength to handle something heavy like cookie dough. She says she had no problem mixing cookie dough, bread dough, or whatever else she used. Very attractive mixer and looks very high quality. I will buy one in the future. I highly recommend it.

Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Dough hooks fall out

Bought this machine to replace a Sunbeam three function machining centre. It is obsolete and no longer available. I bake a lot of bread. It had the same dough hooks as my previous car. This goes quite well until the kneading hooks fall out. You have to stop and push them back. Very unpleasant. Bread dough doesn't seem to go well. I had Kitchenaid which left a lot to be desired in the kneading process. The end result is fine in this case, as long as you can bear to put the dough hooks back in.

Pros
  • Useful not only for its intended purpose
Cons
  • Sad packaging

How to attach and remove the bowl.

I would give 5 stars if the instructions showed how to remove the bowl. You must hold the platter with one hand to keep it from moving. Then twist the bowl slightly to loosen and remove. Other mixmasters have a lock and unlock switch on the side, this one doesn't. However, if you prevent the turntable from moving and rotate the bowl, you can lift it up and down. My wife couldn't take the bowl off without her. It took me about 10 minutes to figure out what was going on. Fix it in the same wayโ€ฆ

Sufficient mixer. in food processors

Replacement for an old (read: old) Krups hand/food processor. This one is stronger/more powerful but doesn't bounce back and forth on the bowl like my Krups so I have to push the center out to the sides. Handles heavy cookie dough well - I like heavy dough hooks. I've only had it for a few days and only used it once so far, but I think it will be ok. I really regret not buying a hand mixer but the Sunbeam MixMaster will do. I take the blender off the stand to store it as it's too big to fit inโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Insecure

Cheap cheap cheap

I have an old Sunbeam stand mixer (along with my Kitchen Aide for more intense blending) that is on its last legs after about 35 years and I was looking for one others to replace it. This one was full of plastic. The racquets look like they are some sort of composite (currently stainless steel) which I wouldn't put next to food! Very cheaply made. When you buy something you want it to last, plastic isn't. It was clear the box had been opened and possibly used. I can't say anything specificโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Some little things

Exactly what I wanted good for blender

I bought this for kneading bread as I have arthritis and can't knead by hand and can't afford KitchenAid. I soften the dough a bit with more liquid and it kneads well with a little help from a plastic spatula. This is exactly what I wanted and I can use it for other purposes as well. I'm diabetic (so I make my bread low carb) so I don't make the desserts that people make with blenders, but I can try anything low carb. I don't see any of the problems that others have mentioned - I think they did

Pros
  • understandable for the old one too
Cons
  • Infinitely sluggish
