🍞 Black Sunbeam 4-Slice Toaster with Wide Slots (003911-100-000) Review

Completely unusable junk The plastic handles for pushing slices of bread are almost impossible to hold and also bend like breaking off the same box and returning without receiving a piece of toast!

After years of using a cheap dollar store toaster I finally decided to get a good toaster. A four slice toaster is a great option for a family. What I like most about this toaster is that the bread rises nice and tall and I don't have to dig through the toaster to get the bread. There is also a way to push the lever up a bit, which will raise the bread to a height where you can lift it. I can't say enough good things about this toaster, it's beautiful and works great!

At first (like any toaster with a plastic outer shell) there is a strong smell of burnt plastic. But it doesn't affect the taste of the food or anything like that and only the first 5 or so cycles are strong. I've had this toaster for a few months now. However, this is not as significant as the portion of Sunbeam 4 that it replaced. It's funny. In the 70's and 80's I said the same thing about new and old.
