If this unit had more detailed instructions I would probably give it five stars. What it doesn't tell you: It runs on battery all the time. The charger only charges. To stop charging, all you have to do is press and hold the power button for at least 10 seconds. It tells you to download additional apps but doesn't really tell you how or where to get them. Otherwise it's a really good radio. We've had others, including Logitech, and they were all just crap. I would buy this again.

I originally posted this as a 5 star review but after buying two of these I downgraded the rating mainly because they are more difficult to use. I bought them to use Pandora and Iheart. Both allowed a lot of advertising, which limited the ability to remain user-friendly. Maybe viruses found their way onto both radios at some point? I don't use Android so I can't comment on that. Easy to set up, intuitive to use, love this internet radio! The sound is amazing and the touch controls are very convenient. A small point, but very useful for me, is that the device came fully charged, so I could set it up without finding an outlet. I would give 0 stars if I could. It comes preloaded with apps that require a monthly subscription. You cannot download any of the other 1000 free apps available. It has a rechargeable battery that allows you to use it without AC power. But if the grid fails, the battery doesn't take over. You have to turn it back on.
