Nice black color with no surface issues. Pre-lubricated bearings, although you'll probably want to lubricate them after delivery. Have to deal with installation as my old headset is stuck.

Installed correctly. But there was an easy game in the neck. Eventually I took it to Block Bikes in Lancaster, California. Professionals replaced the product with a better one, which cost me $40.

After emailing the seller confirming actual size, I ordered this way, it was delivered quickly after a slight delay in shipping . It fits perfectly as it should and is well lubricated, but I added more Pink Bird lube. So smooth, better than a brand new OEM.

Thin chrome plating and rough finish. I got this because I needed a replacement mug for an old Fuji I'm restoring. I kept most of the original headset and just used the bottom shell and locking nut from that set. The shortcomings become clear when you look at it next to the original headset.

Fits a 1986 GT I'm rebuilding it and works as expected It was a little thinner than I wanted but for what it is it's a great price and looks good on the bike. Pretty good headset. The only downside is that the race only contains 16 bearings, which is quite small compared to what I see, most of them have 18-22 bearings. The bearings are 5/32. I used this to replace a stock 1" steel steering column. dirt in the bearings), but is also silky smooth. I had to keep the original fork crown race as the one that came with this set was too small to ever fit on the fork, but the original looked the same and was in good shape. Most 1 inch threaded yokes have a groove in the threads that accepts a lug washer. This headset does not have a lug washer - I used a washer from my old headset to keep the cup and locking ring from moving together. The key to the headset's performance is the bike's steering column. Does it have two parallel faces at 90 degrees to the pipe? Then the cups should sit nicely. With an inexpensive headset, the steering can be great. It won't look great, but if set up correctly it will work great…

This is made for older (mostly post WW2) English (SAE) single speed and multi speed motorcycles. I used this kit to replace bearings on a '79 Schwinn Breeze.
