Ideaworks Collapsible LED Desk Lamp - Portable, White - Ideal for Home and Office Use Review

I love this portable lamp even though it is portable. I have one by my bed, one on my desk by my chair, and one above my filing cabinet. It's so cheap I can keep it in almost any room. It emits bright light and is great when we have storms and power outages. I received my package quickly and in good condition. I will buy from Ideaworks again and recommend them to my friends.

I would give zero stars if I could; Product is defective. Unfortunately, due to COVID, I only discovered the defect after the return window as my working group is not currently meeting. The batteries do not fit in the compartment, which prevents the compartment door (on the bottom of the device) from closing. Basically it's useless. I'm afraid it's going in the trash.

Mainly used as a bedside lamp. I love the touch function. It's especially handy when we're losing energy - especially at night - quite often where I live, and I can touch it, take it, and do whatever I need to. I can install it anywhere and direct the light where I need it. Low settings are just enough to light up a room so you can see where you're going and the brightness is just enough for comfortable reading. I am very happy with the product and have bought 2 more.

I used it too late to get it back and it literally only took a day. It worked quite well while it was working but I turned it off and the next morning I saw a light coming out of my closet where I had left it and somehow it turned on by itself and then I couldn't turn it back on. turns off without removing the batteries. I carry this lamp folded on the back of my work. In the hospital I often had to sit in the dark with the sick. I can take it and expand and read all night. I used it 3 times all night and have yet to change the battery level. There are three light intensity settings. I can read very well at level 1, but if I wrote very small in a footnote I can put it at level 2. Level 3 I never need I just changed the setting to 2 and kept reading all night. I sell jewelry and bought this lantern for a late night event I was doing outdoors where I didn't have electricity and was afraid it would be too dark. This little light worked very well. It illuminated the jewelry trays in front of him and made the jewelry sparkle beautifully. I bought this item in March 2021. Never used and I missed the return date. BE CAREFUL! Posted 4 AA batteries. Batteries do not fit properly in the case. Didn't realize someone posted this photo in a previous review. I tried to put in new batteries to position them properly in the case, put the cover on and started to feel the case warming up.
