Despite the description and packaging, this item will never fit a 9.5" cylinder. I set it up as shown in the photos, trying to bypass an 11 lb propane tank that was exactly 9 1/8" in diameter. Didn't even come close. Stretched to the max, it was still about 3 inches shorter. very strong, very strong, so for a smaller cylinder that would be great.

As per other reviews, this product needs to be pulled or its description changed. Even the packaging is wrong. You can clearly see in my photo that it doesn't even fit in an 8 inch tank. This rubber base you see in my picture is for an 8 inch tank and mine is an 8 inch tank. It fits the base so loosely I added a guard tucked into the 8 inch base to make it tighter. This is not a client error. This is a poorly sold product.

I bought two of these to secure my 10lb CO2 tank to the back of my 2012 Toyota Tundra. I pretensioned the straps around the tank on my workbench before installing it on the truck. This greatly simplified installation around the tank. I installed the clamps with (3) #10 1-1/2 self-tapping sheet metal screws on each belt; two outer holes with 3/16" washers underneath and a standard washer under the center bolt. I don't really use this like many would expect, I was looking for a flexible clamp to tuck my 4 step folded stool on the wall under the rail Easy access for me , easy to get and it does the trick! I use it as a large elastic on a chair and railings so I don't fall on anyone. And I can easily get out to use it. Now I'm 70 so I need easy access to everything but I don't want to make something like this publicly available. Ideal! Very well made and durable. I was going to attach it to the wall but
