Enhance Cooling Power with SuperATV Heavy Duty Radiator for Polaris RZR XP 1000 / XP 4 1000 Review

Will not fit 2018 rzr 900 esp without custom support brackets or you heavily modify the stock brackets. I was very upset when I only found this out after draining all the coolant and pulling out the other radiator.

This is a much thicker heatsink than the standard Rzr1000 heatsink. To make it fit for 1000 you need to modify the existing mounts. You will need to extend the bottom mounting brackets approximately 1 inch to install the new heatsink.

Great product, works well. The downside is that the bottom brackets don't work well with this thicker heatsink. Adapters would make this setup better. You'll need to sharpen some gores to pierce the 8n heatsink. Lower adapters would likely eliminate this trimming and grinding. Otherwise the radiator is a good buy.

Doesn't leak and cool my RZR. As other reviews say, it didn't fit my 2021 RZR XP1000 without the adapter bracket for mounting points on the underside of the radiator. They should be about 1" back or the end tanks will move through the chassis tubes at the front of the machine. This will work but remember you will need to make a clamp.

Good news, bad news. Delivery time was excellent. Received the next day after ordering. The set is not very good. I put it in and saw that the face down is against the metal where the plastic is attached. I had to pull out the radiator, sand the metal and paint. Now it abuts the frame in a different spot, but I don't rub or bump the frame. Hope the cooler lasts. Let's see.

Radiator looks nice. I had to make an adapter for the shift, tk. The thicker heatsink gets in the way of the frame. I saw an example in another review. The local hardware store didn't have aluminum flat stock, but my 47 year old wife spotted a 2 foot aluminum scale that did the trick. We will launch and test it soon. Oh yeah, that's the 2017 RZR XP 1000. So far, it's good. Overclocked to 180 degrees, thermostat open, radiator warmed up. Everything seems fine.

This is a much better and more functional cooler than the factory unit. You need to make some modifications and make sure you get the heatsink mounts. It doesn't work without her. The instructions are correct and the instillation went smoothly. I installed a grizztek guard to prevent the rod from piercing the radiator again. We just got back from a trip to Salmon, Idaho and the device worked much better than before. Thank you for a great solution to a factory problem.
