I use this wrench to remove three carbon/particulate filters on my APEC RO unit. It's amazing and works flawlessly. Very well built, very durable and lots of torque! The RO system came with a plastic filter housing wrench that had a tendency to bend [torque/deformation] when the filters were removed. This is a one piece wrench that will NOT bend. Additionally, the handle is significantly longer than the OEM plastic wrench, making removing the filter housing much easier as the longer handle greatly improves leverage.

Don't hesitate to buy this one. For years I struggled to get the reverse osmosis filter canisters loose with the small plastic wrench that came with the purchase. Eventually the canisters became so tight that I couldn't loosen them, although I hit the plastic key with a hammer and almost destroyed the filter. This key greatly simplifies the process. It's a very strong metal and long enough to develop a lot of torque. Just buy and you're done.

Overall this is a good key to replacing the reverse osmosis filter. I am sure, like many others, that I have overtightened the canisters in my reverse osmosis system about 9 times out of 10 when I have changed filters. Last time I broke 2 of the cheap plastic wrenches that came with my reverse osmosis systems and ended up using a strap wrench to remove and reinstall the canisters.
