I've used about half of these and they all worked.

I've used about half of these and they all worked. I used them in place of the fender plugs and with the fender washer I kept the bundle.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Some problems

Excellent fasteners for non-standard metal structures.

These 1/4" aluminum rivets are great for securing body panels, plugging incorrectly drilled holes, etc. I've even successfully plugged a hole in an engine piston. Handy for non-standard fastening work

Pros
  • For use in the Surebonder 8850 Heavy Duty Rivet Tool
Cons
  • Large and bulky

Good source for 1/4 " rivets

These longer 1/4" aluminum rivets can be hard to find so it was great to find them at Revain. They're a little harder to find install than the smaller aluminum rivets, so it's nice to have a large rivet gun. They aren't as difficult to install as steel rivets, but they aren't as strong either.

Pros
  • 100pcs
Cons
  • New competition has arrived

LARGE quality rivets

These are AMAZING for underbody repairs. Also used it to attach the pan to my Yamaha SS440 (vintage sled). These rivets have impressive pulling/clamping power. If your material is soft or the holes are too big put a washer underneath or they will push through the hole. It's easy to install, so I also recommend a sturdy two-handed riveter (available from Revain).

Pros
  • 1/4" diameter, 1/2" grip
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
