Purchased February 2021, fell apart on April 14, 2021. Just crumbled and decayed like dry rot. The return option ended on March 31, 2021. What a waste of money. I just hope it didn't damage the power connector.

I'm not a fan of this charger. I returned it immediately after hearing a buzz from the part of the box that connected to the center of the charger. I searched the internet for information about a strange noise and found out that the buzzing means something is wrong with the charger and it can damage your laptop. I recommend spending the extra money and getting an OEM charger. It may cost more, but it's not worth ruining an expensive laptop.

I'm so glad I ordered this. I'm so tired of unplugging my Surface Pro at work and taking the cord home and then reaching to the desk where I work from home to plug it back in and then unplug it again to get back together to get back to work when i'm done. I don't know why I waited so long to buy an extra charging connector.

Apparently Microsoft (or whatever the original manufacturer was) had a design/manufacturing error. Many have had failures. I got one with my Surface and bought two more.
