A GROUNDBREAKING PROFILE, BACK FOR MORE: Sculpted in Hi-Profile, Matt3o’s groundbreaking MT3 /dev/tty custom keycap set changed the way we type. FROM THE IBM TERMINAL TO THE DESKTOP: Based on the profile form the iconic IBM beamspring terminals of the 1970s, this custom set is fully sculpted in Hi-Profile. From its heavily slanted design to the scooped, contoured tops of each cap, the set recreates the feel of vintage keyboards. DOUBLESHOT LEGENDS: As opposed to a dye-sublimiation process, these doubleshot legends are permanently molded inside the keycap, thus becoming an integral part of it. This ensures reliable legends and continuity throughout the set. BASE KIT: Covers fullsize, tenkeyless, winkeyless, 60%, 65%, and 75% Mechanical keyboards. SPECS: Produced by Drop and designed by Matt3o, ABS Hi-Profile MT3 keycaps, Doubleshot legends, MX compatible, and Fully sculpted based on IBM beamspring keycaps.

Incredible Feel and Aesthetics

These are awesome buttons that feel incredible on my board. Additional elements can add some personality and fun to the keyboard, especially if you build it yourself. I cannot praise the quality enough. That definitely justifies the high price. If the look works for you, feel free to pick them up.

Expensive but worth it.

I wasn't sure I'd like these keycaps as they don't have a backlight and are quite expensive. However, I really like the look of the caps. They are just well thought out, high quality and fun to tap on. Yes, they are expensive and the most expensive caps I've ever bought, but I was pleasantly surprised.

  • Great design
Cons
  • Sad packaging

Best third party baseball caps I've ever had.

I really liked the aesthetic of these keycaps because I was looking for something similar to "Old NASA" and it was the best I could find. The ergonomics were great too and everything fitted really well and snugly unlike the original keycaps that came with my CTRL keyboard. $30 for 10 extra keys to use with my 10 keyless keys is VERY cool.

Possibly the last set of keys you will buy.

First, caps for the MT3 profile, they may not suit everyone, but once you get used to them you can no longer go back to another profile. It's not great for gaming, but for hardcore typists, it will blow your mind. There is an IBM legend on the caps. This is a clean set of keys that will suit any build with a killer profile. The double press hit is thick and definitely produces a great sound. If you like SA sets, this will change your mind. I would recommend that you try it. A little pricey but…

Beautiful molded caps

They look great on my KBD75V2. The profile prints great and I quickly got used to it. Print speed tests didn't fall below 110 after migrating DSA profile limitations. The sound isn't as rich and the texture isn't as nice from my DSAs, which were PBT, but still not bad. One return cover and one backspace warped slightly, but that wasn't a big problem. Thankfully, the 6.25U space was straight forward and didn't rattle when used. If anyone is looking to get into SA profiles, this is a good place…

Expensive but not disappointing

After using Stock Caps for 4-5 years I have decided to buy them. Getting used to it went quickly, with daily use for 6-8 hours for intensive typing with yellow rasps there were no problems. They're comfortable (I have long fingers), they look good, they type well, they sound good, they feel good. I have no experience with PBT keycaps, so I can't compare. Maybe I can edit this review when I have it. If your board is hot-swappable, be careful when removing these keycaps as they will take the…

Fantastic keychain!

Chic set of keys. This is my first set of MT3 profile keycaps and I love how it feels and sounds on my board. It's a bit pricey, but keycaps and mechanical keys in general are almost always expensive in this range for enthusiasts. I appreciate that this set can fill almost any standard layout. I have this on a Tokyo60 HHKB board with Glorious Panda switches and there are no profile issues on the rows. It also sounds fantastic, at least to my personal taste. It has a very "thick" sound when…

I like them in keyboards, mice and accessories

These are my daily drivers, I use them on Drop CTRL with Glorious Panda switches. At first I found the MT3 profile confusing, but after some use I really liked it. I admit that not everyone will like this profile and this should be taken into account when purchasing this product (or a similar one). If you could try the MT3 kit first before spending about two hundred bucks on keys, that would be a **very good** idea. Other things go without saying, the thickness is very good, the weight feels…

An absolute must on ortholinear boards

These keycaps are thick, double-sided to never fade, and embossed. On ortholinear keyboards, these keycaps really help to accommodate the smaller special key size and different key layout. Pros: 1. Thick: It helps lower the pitch, making it quieter.2. Dual ABS: Legends don't wear out. The font is also quite bold, making it easier to read than some of the other buttons.3. MT3 Profile: The molded profile makes it really comfortable to use and helps reduce the number of false keystrokes. No sharp…
