Rulers not aligned for measuring and marking tools

Do not buy. The rulers on the opposite pages were not aligned. They were at least 32nd, making the 16th side completely useless.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Some small things

A tool to be proud of!

At 64, nothing impresses me. However, this place is a work of art! The ruler is 1/8 inch thick and very easy to read. Available for $8 at the Revain Warehouse!

Pros
  • It's amazing
Cons
  • Protection

Damaged measuring and marking tools

Steel ruler dangling in wood. And on further investigation a crooked screw was found cracking the wood, and because the screw was crooked it stuck proudly in the brass bar.

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Nothing

Slightly rough around the edges.

I like the style and look of this square, but it was very inconvenient to use. I had to lightly sand all the edges with a 220 grit sanding pad because the wood and brass were too sharp to use.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Write later

Good square but only for woodworking

This is a good quality square but it contains wood and brass. I keep it very far away from welding, outdoor and even rough construction tools. I love the wood and brass style and it reminds me not to walk away with it like I often do with my speed squares.

Pros
  • Handy thing
Cons
  • Almost never

The rule on the two edges is not aligned.

The triangular square is an essential tool, but it has a ridiculous design where the lines on the inside and outside edges don't match. It appears to be square, which is half its function, but it's poorly lined, which is the other half of its function. Now I need to find another one to use instead.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • General Information

Don't buy this. in measuring and marking tools

They look good, are made of quality materials, but are poorly designed. I would recommend not buying them. Mine was ready to use. I've been a carpenter for 40 years. This tool does not stand up to any use at work. I don't think it will stay square even if it's perfect when new.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • Not reliable

neat and beautiful

This square replaces a very (very) old one. It's pretty pretty, but the real thing, the accuracy, is top-notch too. My reference square (Starrett) confirmed squareness and an acceptable pitch to within 1/64th over an outside scale length of 7 inches. I am a furniture maker and this square is perfect for everyday use in my carpentry workshop.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • something different

Accuracy and Value Add this Tri-Square

This is a tool I don't use often, but when I need it it's invaluable when laying out a design. I have been using the Tri-Square for over 60 years, the Swanson 8" Tri-Square is as good as the best but a lot cheaper. This is an exceptional value that any craftsman or serious woodworker needs. , Molded hardwood handle with brass hardware - Bonus!

Pros
  • handy article
Cons
  • So far so good

Here the fun ended. Copper landing and metal ruler.

Received the square two days ago and quickly threw it on the workbench to open later. This morning I opened the package and checked for squareness. I used a marking knife and a known real blade and it was absolutely square. Here the fun ended. The brass plate and the edges of the metal ruler were so sharp I almost cut myself. I think the days of smoothing and sanding metal edges are over. The wood appeared to be completely untreated or even sanded, and the logo was poorly made. On the other…

Pros
  • Quality construction
