I've just started using Rhino Rags and so far they're great. I like that they absorb moisture well and are much easier to rinse and clean than sponges. They don't fall apart like paper towels. Haven't used them for that long but I feel they will last.

I received one of these as a gift and was amazed at how well it worked! They are absorbent. much better than a paper towel, but rinse thoroughly and then dry quickly so they don't get slimy or smelly. I thought they would fall apart quickly but I've used the same month and it's still like new! Have used them with all types of cleaners as well as bleach and they don't pill or fall apart. Much better than rags or sponges!

I thought they didn't smell, and if they did, I'd throw them in the dishwasher. BEWARE they get as stinky as regular washcloths and washing them in the dishwasher leaked suds onto my kitchen floor. The dish soap I thought I had washed off was still there and made a big mess. In addition, they dry very hard and have a deformed shape (corners curl), so they are not easy to fold and store. I will not buy again. Old-fashioned tea towels work best for me.

Swedish kitchen napkins come in beautiful bright colours. They absorb very well and are easy to use. They have a texture that allows them to deal with stubborn counterstains. I mainly use them for wiping countertops, but I'm sure they work just as well as kitchen towels. They seem to be much more hygienic than sponges. I haven't had a chance to wash them yet (so haven't given them 5 stars yet) but they should be dishwasher or washing machine safe. I am very happy with these fabrics.

Large tea towels have always been a nuisance. All that fabric spinning and water splashing. This garment fits perfectly into quarters which is a much better size for me as it then only fits on my four fingers making a much more comfortable cleaning pad. I use tons of paper towels so I love these. Unfortunately not much. I use a paper towel of my chosen size on my toast every day. I thought it might be a replacement for that. They are great the first time they are used, but after washing they become too wavy to use. Also, I usually have some type of fruit with my toast, and I like to occasionally wipe my fingertips with a "toast" paper towel.
