SwimZip™ Kids' Little Zippered Sleeve Swimsuit - Boys' Swimwear for Optimal Sun Protection Review

So sad about this purchase. It fit perfectly on the top and the bottom was long BUT! The suit's mesh lining clung to his boy parts, causing him to bleed as he pulled it off. We thought it was a coincidence. The next day his boy parts got tangled and the suit had to be cut off, we went to the emergency room because he was in so much pain he couldn't sit still. We packed it in ice and were able to cut the suit off without an ER. BEWARE. Ruined a beautiful day.

The best two piece, the shorts run a bit large, the top runs true to size. My only complaint was that the collar came up and after two minutes my 3 year old started complaining about the shirt rubbing his chin. I TOTALLY witnessed how annoying this was, so I unzipped the shirt a bit and attached the shirt's "collar" (on each side) with a needle and thread. Otherwise it is very practical and has good coverage.

This is a Christmas present for my grandson. I love the swimzip - it's easy to put on and take off. Very nice. I will order again when he outgrows it. Thanks.

Bought as a gift for my 5 year old nephew whose mum told me he carries a 4T. Sister said the shirt fits great and my nephew loves fishing and she likes to just zip it off but the shorts are a bit big for my nephew even with drawstrings but at least they have room to grow!

We love the zip-up style rashguard, it's MUCH easier to put on a squirming toddler than trying to pull it over their head. However, the shorts had some problems. The balaclava is not needed on the smaller sizes, I cut it out because it left marks on the legs. They're also comically long, reaching the ankles. I ended up cutting them shorter because it looked silly.

I bought this as a gift for my grandson. The fabric is very soft and the size is just right for me. It looks well made and very attractive. My daughter in law was very happy. I can report after using it for a while but I doubt there will be any problems with it.

This product took shape after my son wore it for the first time. I hand washed it and hung it to dry (outside in the sun) and it was already moldy and starting to wear. I've never had this with any of my son's other swimsuits (different brands). Extremely disappointed with the quality.

Well done. The material is comfortable and the suit is very cute. A full zip shirt makes a world of difference for my one year old. This makes it easier to put on and take off. Other non-zip sun shorts are very difficult to remove when wet. I feel well protected from the sun in it and it's easy for me. I would buy again.

I love this swimsuit! It's so easy to hit on a shady kid. And it's amazing! The trunk lining is a little torn after washing, otherwise everything is perfect.

This was a great beach set for my son. He used to have sun shirts that slipped over his head, after buying this zip, easy to put on and take off, I will never buy a panty again. Dirt is light and sand seems to cling to it, but once you rinse it off everything is clean. The shorts have an elastic band and then a drawstring waist. My son is not 4 years old, he is tall and skinny and it suits him.

I bought 0-3 months and my baby wore it at 2 months. I found the fit uncomfortable and would choose a different style if I could do it again. The waistband of the shorts was too tight and the shorts were a bit long. The shirt was buttoned quite high at the neck and felt uncomfortable despite the fabric zipper. We didn't wet the baby, we kept him in the shade and he seemed a little hot so we took his pants off and left his shirt half open. The quality of the material and the construction of the…

Big fan of these swimsuits from SwimZip. Bought two models, received many compliments and questions from other parents. Advantages: 1) Easy to put on and take off (zipper). The material flap over the zip was a great addition as it protects the neck from irritation. We all know how kids hate labels being bumped and pinched.

I bought 12 month old clothes for the future as my son is just starting to wear 9 month old clothes and now they fit perfectly. I LOVE you on the flash. Unlike other swim shirts, it's so easy to take off when wet. I'm already planning to buy the next size up to get through the summer.

I have for my nephew! His parents love it and my brother and his wife appreciate how easy it is to get on and off; although it was fun watching them fight while the boy ran around in circles while they tried to rip off his wet shirt. The quality was good. Nicer than expected. BUT the shorts were huge. I ordered 2T and both were marked as such but the shorts won't fit for a year or two. I've included another pair of 2T barrels in the image for reference.

Great product, my favorite toddler swimsuit. The front zippers make it very easy to get your naughty, slippery toddler on and off! Highly recommended, they also protect sensitive children's skin.
