🔍 GBC 7 Sheet Capacity Paper Shredder: Super Cross-Cut Style+ for Personal Use (1758581) - White/Black Review

To say that this shredder can hold seven sheets of paper would be a ridiculous exaggeration for Swingline. Today I used mine for the first time and spent several hours untangling seven sheets of paper. Right now the shredder won't even turn on. A "set" of seven papers were depositary receipts - and you know how flimsy they are. It could very well be back by the end of the day.

Excellent shredder. It is perfect for my use and it pains me to give it three stars. Unfortunately it doesn't match the description here according to the manual: - it has a consistent run time of 3 minutes with half an hour cooling - it can't shred paperclips and says to avoid paperclips - it CAN shred CDs - it's maintenance free and can go with you Oil is not recommended. The latter annoyed me the most since the description recommends an oil that I bought to prepare and is now useless.

I was a little carried away with the shredding when I first got it. So I had to wait several times for it to cool down. But now that I actually use it a lot, I knew I would. That's great. It sits next to my desk and is small enough that I only have to throw out torn papers twice a month. If you need to shred a lot of documents, I do NOT suggest this. It fills up fast (I found out the first time I had to clean out 2 filing cabinets with old documents). Otherwise it was a great purchase for me!

Someone wrote in another review that it is not white/black but grey/black and that person was right. I bought this shredder because I thought it was black and white and would fit in my living room, silly as it may sound. Rschunimagu. I wouldn't use this shredder very often and put 7 pages in it that it claims it can handle. I think 2 is enough and I wouldn't bet more than 3. It stuck once and I don't know why, but the next day when I tried again it was working fine again.
