Accompanied by several nuances. But it works

1. When I switch between my work laptop (Win10) and Mac mini, I often get a green screen on the monitor. To get around this, switch back and forth a few times2. USB cannot wake up computer from sleep mode. This is very annoying because I can't put computers to sleep at night3. There's a confusing power adapter with a USB-A end, the Switch works without. No "keep alive " function

I bought this 4 port to replace IOGEAR's 2 port KVM. Something was still active on the USB. With this new KVM, it takes some time for each computer to wake up when accessing the switch. When it wakes up, I get accompanying sound effects for two attached USB devices (on the target computer) and two more sound effects for detachable USB ports on the device I'm switching from. Easy to use, failed.

Everything went well at the beginning. Then, after using it for a bit, I found that it couldn't handle the handshake that occurs when a high refresh rate HDMI signal passes through it (it just shows a black screen). So not good for gaming. Then, about four months later, my screen started blinking black at an increasing rate. I cut it out of the loop and the problem went away immediately. Remote switch died after 3 weeks! No, I just need a power cycle!

I had the only issue where the monitor went static as if the signal dropped but the laptop it showed was fine (ie it had to be a switch) but through hin - and switching on it was deleted. The real disappointment for me was that the remote switch just stopped working (I'm guessing it's not the actual switch but the electronics in the unit itself).
