NIUGUY 350W Switching Power Supply: Universal Regulated Transformer for LED Strip Light, CCTV, Radio, Computer Projects - 110-240VAC to DC12V 30A Review

I ordered this power supply after purchasing a cheaper unit. The cheaper unit was so loud at 10A that I couldn't use it. I am very satisfied with the quality of this device. It's almost silent. The performance is very clean. At the moment I use up to 20A and it has been flawless.

I bought this after another 12v power supply I bought from Revain failed on the second day when the main capacitor blew under light load, the 4 CCTV -Cameras powered. This power supply looks best when the capacitor is flooded with a heatsink. Comes well packaged with data sheet (which didn't bother other PS).

I bought two power adapters and they worked very well and solved many of my DVR picture quality problems. No more ripples from dark lines in the image due to bad ground and low camera performance. I've had two power supplies for about four weeks now and I'm very happy with them. I can't say how they hold up over time, but if I last two years with them I will be very happy.

I bought this to replace the 12V 20A power supply that came with my 3D printer. There were many people on the internet saying that 20A is not enough to properly power the printer. Well I didn't notice much of a difference, this PSU heats up the same as the other. However, this one has a fan that comes on from time to time, so that happens. The downside to this power supply is that it doesn't have a flip-up cover on the terminals, which can lead to an accidental short circuit.

Update: My unit failed after a few months but the seller did their best to replace it with a new unit without asking any questions or requiring me to send the old one. The new device works great and I applaud the manufacturer and seller for doing it right. The only way to improve the device is to cover the air conditioner's screw terminals so that it is not possible to touch the terminals. Otherwise super transformer. I have 3 of these and they are perfect for using under my kitchen cabinets…

Was looking for a power supply for dual band UHF radios. Reviews looked good for this unit compared to others, and I bought it to see if it would be quiet enough to handle load regulation. The device is well built from thick aluminum. Unfortunately, upon unpacking, it smelled of burnt electronics. As an electronics engineer, I decided to test the device. Confirmed setting for 115V and applied input power. There is no way out at all. It seemed like this device was a throwback as the box ended up

Today I opened and set up my new power supply. Cut through the shrink wrap to find an easy silver stash. There are no labels or stickers anywhere. I had to use it so I decided to trust the picture on the box and set it up anyway. After plugging and plugging I got nothing, no light, no fan. I checked the outputs with a voltmeter - nothing. I unplugged it and plugged it back into a known good outlet, nothing. Examined the device again and found that even though it should have read 110, the switch

Bought to replace a fake 60W PSU from Aliexpress (it was a 24W PSU , renamed and burned out an hour after 40 W of power). LED garland) based on reviews here. I was very upset when I saw that this is NOT a 5A (60W) 12VDC power supply but a 4.2A (50W) power supply. Luckily I'm still within its limitations with the light I make from it, but I'm disappointed with the inaccurate marketing. Maybe the sellers felt they should call it 60 watts since everyone else called their power supplies "60 watts"…
