🔧 Efficient R134A Valve Core High Low Pressure Tool for Automotive Air Conditioning: SY66 Quick Remover Installer Review

Schraeder valve remover was too small for my F150. My schrader valve was larger than the end of the tool so there was no way to remove the old valve through the tool. If it doesn't work on my other cars, all Fords, I've wasted my money.

I have a 2009 Ford F150 with AC issues. I saw them and thought they were just what I needed to replace Schrader valves. The low side got stuck and when I released the blue holding tool the schrader veil and all the freon was gone. The quality of these is very good.

Works as advertised. The inner shaft is interchangeable between low and high pressure tools. Each shaft has different sized lugs, so be sure to use the one that fits your Schrader valve. It should fit snugly to lift the valve after unscrewing.

Not very good quality. A bit frustrating when trying to get it to grab the valve stem to pull it out, it took me more than a few tries to pull it out. but for a (hopefully) one-time use it's worth it. There really were two Schrader valves in the box, nothing was said about that in the description, they didn't fit mine, but no matter what it costs, they are there. Had to buy another $15 kit for a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.7 valve V8.

As other buyers have mentioned, the product works well if you gently squeeze the end of the valve core tool so it is snug against the valve. Each buyer should evaluate the valve size (low side or high side) by removing the midshaft valve tool and checking the valve for leaks before proceeding. This tool saves home mechanics a lot of money by working from home and avoiding the mechanic's workshop.

The tool is of high quality. But it doesn't work. As many users of such tools note, the tool does not hold the bar. However, it is quite easy to set up. Gently tap the end of the stick grab to reduce the gap and it will start grabbing the stick. Just make sure you don't overdo it. I did just that, grabbed the Schrader valve and pulled it all the way out, but to my disappointment, the tool's ball valve would not close. The schrader valve was on the way because the tool body is too short.

This thing only works if you do the following before using it: 1) Purchase a replacement valve stem and test it in the tool. 2) Squeeze the test tool forks together so that the test tool can frictionally hold the valve stem. If you do not do this, the old valve stem will fall out of the tool when you remove it and you will not be able to close the tool valve. You will eventually lose all system performance. After filling up my 2006 Jeep A/C 143a with gas, I noticed the filler valve was leaking. I used this valve replacement kit. I ran into a small gap problem which I solved by temporarily bending some metal aside. The key to this job is to take a vise or pliers and gently squeeze the pin fingers together so they firmly grip the valve tip. Be careful not to bend them too much (don't break them). Take your time.
