Factory Seconds, Fraud

I was a UL inspector and I can tell you that these second bulbs are not up to factory standards. The photos show that each bulb has a quality defect due to deformed beading or defects in the clear glass in the manufacturing process. Regular price for defective low quality product. very disappointed.

Pros
  • For indoor and outdoor lighting when not directly exposed to the weather. Omnidirectional lighting.
Cons
  • Some errors

See what you've been missing.

You know how over the past 15 years your vision has become clouded and colors less clear. these are your lights I say goodbye to LEDs. I no longer look "around" what I'm trying to see. I can't believe it took me so long to learn about the color rendering index and see it again.

Pros
  • Halogen lamps meet federal EISA requirements.
Cons
  • Protection

double life? We will see.

Although these halogen bulbs look just like their incandescent bulbs, they last twice as long. We will see. I've installed a few in hard-to-reach overhead lights where I don't want to change the bulbs any more than necessary. They give off a nice bright soft white light so I'm very happy with them.

Pros
  • Halogen lamps meet federal EISA requirements.
Cons
  • High Price

Works with car lights on timer

The car lights in my garage and on the front door have a timer, so I have to use dimmable bulbs when they don't actually dim. I'm not an electrician but I know that if I'm not following these guidelines the lights will flash when they're off, so I'm following them. In any case, they provide sufficient light, look good and work perfectly.

Pros
  • These high quality bulbs offer an extra long life of 2000 hours.
Cons
  • Exorbitant price

Not suitable for incandescent lamps as advertised

I had a box of these that I bought at the grocery store. When I saw the picture and read the description I thought I'd order the same ones I have at home. Not right. I did not receive what was pictured and described. I did not receive double life bulbs. I photographed what I received. The first picture is a box of double life bulbs on the left that I already had (from the grocery store) and 4 separate boxes of non double life bulbs that I received on the right. The second picture shows the…
